It's hard to believe that this sweet beautiful girl has spent the first three years of her life in a shelter down south. We feel lucky that Penny was spared and the shelter kept her around since a puppy, but so sad that she has never known what having a home and family would be like at three years old. She was certainly a shelter favorite which is why they kept her so long. Penny likes to consider herself a lap dog and will literally sit on you with all four paws. She is not short on kisses, loves playtime and then to bask in the sun. Now in foster, this girl could not be more lovely. She weighs 40 lbs so she is the perfect family-sized dog. Penny got to greet many families who came and went, but was never offered the chance to come home with them. We feel that any family who gets her is the lucky one. If you would like to offer Penny the home and love she has waited for, the FIRST thing to do is copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Penny is up to date on shots, heart worm negative and spayed. Full vetting and transport up north is included in her $375 adoption fee. We cannot be certain what her true mix is. (Less)
