German Shorthaired Pointer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Introducing Ace D. Pitts a presumed Boxer/GSP mix. Momma was a German Short Hair Pointer. His story is compelling. Ace was not yet born when his momma, Beautiful Bea was spotted being carted about in the heat of the day on July 17th 2017 by a homeless person in a local park ready to pop! The unfortunate circumstances led to her being surrendered to me and her many foster parents. The pups were born that evening. Momma was just a pup herself of 8 months old. She had no idea what to do. Her instincts did not kick in for several hours. So her mid-wives took over. She ended up being a splendid momma to her 7 puppies. His siblings are about 40 ... (Read More)pounds; He is the big one. He was named after a retired and amazing animal control officer whom we all adored. Weighing in now at 61 pounds, his adopter's hearts are so devastated; but a medical situation prevents them from keeping this dear boy. And as agreed is again under my care. He is an exuberant boy who loves to play. He adores his toys and tennis balls. He knows basic commands but continued training is strongly encouraged as he is still just a big pup. He knows to share toys and treats; however, when it comes to his food- he wants to dine alone. He protects his food. Ace as good potty manners as long as you know- that when he wakes- he wants out! A secure fenced yard is must. Although he has good recall- if he gets out- he thinks it is a hide-and- seek game! He comes back quickly- but of course- like all boys- 2 legged and 4 legged, if left to his own devises- he can get into unintentional mischief. Having the German Short Hair- he does have prey drive-. Please tell me about you and your family; what your expectations are of him and what he can expect from you. Provide the city you live and email. Ace will not be placed as a lawn ornament; his placement is predicated on a loving family to join all activities indoors and out. His placement fee is $220. Up to date on all vaccines and neutered.
